Keep your Carated pieces looking brilliant.

Your jewellery is made to be worn, loved and kept for years. A little care goes a long way in keeping your diamonds bright, your gold polished and your settings secure.

EVERYDAY CARE

Gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing
Store each piece separately in its Carated pouch or jewellery box to help prevent scratching and tangling
Apply perfume, lotions, hairspray and beauty products before putting on your jewellery
Remove jewellery before using household cleaning products or harsh chemicals

AVOID

Wearing your jewellery while swimming, showering or exercising
Exposing your pieces to chlorine, salt water or harsh chemicals
Storing jewellery loose in your handbag or alongside other pieces
Using abrasive cleaners or polishing products unless specifically recommended

CLEANING YOUR JEWELLERY

Diamonds & gold

For a gentle at-home clean, soak your jewellery briefly in warm water with a small drop of mild dishwashing liquid.

Using a very soft toothbrush, gently clean around the stone, setting and underside of the piece.

Rinse carefully with clean water and dry thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth.

PROTECTING YOUR PIECES

Fine jewellery is durable, but it isn’t indestructible.

We recommend removing your jewellery before sleeping, exercising, swimming, cleaning or doing anything that may expose your piece to excessive pressure or impact.

Diamond settings should also be checked periodically to ensure stones remain secure.

WARRANTY

Carated jewellery is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults.

Our warranty does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, improper care or damage caused by third-party repairs or alterations.
